“Our use of the X7 has allowed us to bring back field data to locate, identify, and model elements that are not on drawings and/or interfere with the installation of our work scope before we mobilize a crew. On a recent project this allowed us to model roof trusses to confidently prefabricate ceiling hangers(drawing dimensions were incorrect). With the X7 we are also able to verify that all the information is captured and registered before we leave the site. The scan data is colorized and exported to our preferred format(.rcp for Revit use) while traveling back to the office and ready to use immediately.
